What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They are widely used to make websites work, remember your preferences, and provide analytics. This page explains which cookies Livstat uses and why.
Cookies We Use
| Cookie | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| session | Essential | Keeps you signed in to your account. Without this cookie, you would need to log in on every page visit. | 30 days |
| active_project | Essential | Remembers which project you were last working on so you don't have to reselect it each time. | Session |
| cookie_consent | Essential | Stores your cookie consent preference so we don't show the banner on every visit. | 1 year |
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. No data is shared with advertisers.
Essential Cookies & Your Rights
All cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Under EU law (GDPR, ePrivacy Directive) and UK GDPR, essential/functional cookies do not require your consent — but we must inform you about them, which is the purpose of this page.
Because we only use essential cookies, there is nothing to "opt out" of in terms of tracking. If you wish to remove cookies, you can clear them at any time through your browser settings. Note that deleting the session cookie will log you out.
Local Storage
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage to store your cookie consent preference (cookie_consent). This is not transmitted to our servers and can be cleared through your browser's developer tools or by clearing site data.
Third-Party Services
Livstat does not embed third-party scripts that set their own cookies (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Intercom). The only network requests your browser makes are directly to Livstat's servers and our payment processor (Stripe), which sets its own cookies only on checkout pages. Stripe's cookie policy is available at stripe.com.
California Residents (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and whether it is sold or shared. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing or advertising purposes. For more detail see our Privacy Policy.
How to Manage or Delete Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Here are instructions for popular browsers:
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if we add new features that require additional cookies. We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you via the consent banner or email for material changes.
